Resistive sensor detector : Capella RD
The Capella RD (Resistive Detector) device has been designed to receive signals from resistive sensors (RES1 & RES2) and thus accurately to count the axles of vehicles in the toll lanes. When the detector receives signals from the resistive sensors, it transmits an on-off control signal to classification electronics.
The connection with the sensors is made directly on the terminals. The LEDs on the front panel flash each time vehicle wheels move over the sensor. A positive or negative logical signal could be transmitted by the detector.
This device is available in 2 versions :
- RD2: 1 to 2 connected resistive sensors (2 inputs, 2 outputs),
- RD4: 1 to 4 connected resistive sensors (4 inputs, 4 outputs),
